Ally Universe Terms of Use

Ally Universe Pte. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Ally Universe”, “we”, “our“, “us”) provides a subscription service that allows members to access entertainment content (“Ally Universe Content”) through the Internet on supported devices, including computers, smart TVs, and other internet-enabled devices (“Ally Universe Ready Devices”).
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our service. As used in these Terms of Use, “Ally Universe service”, “our service” or “the service” means the personalized service provided by Ally Universe for discovering and accessing Ally Universe content, including all features, functionalities, recommendations, reviews, websites, and user interfaces, as well as all content and software associated with our service. References to “you” or “your” in these Terms of Use indicate the account holder who has registered for the Ally Universe service and whose payment method is used for subscription fees.
1. Membership
1.1 Account and Membership Duration
Your membership continues until you cancel it. To access the service, you must have Internet access, an Ally Universe Ready Device, and a valid payment method (“Payment Method”), which may include a third-party payment account. By maintaining your membership, you authorize us to charge your selected Payment Method for each billing period unless you cancel before the billing date.
1.2 Subscription Plans
We may offer multiple subscription options, including plans bundled with third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party products or services. Plan details, limitations, and terms are presented at the time of sign-up or in communications made available to you. Your current plan and subscription details are accessible on the “My Membership” page.
1.3 Promotional Offers
From time to time, we may provide promotional offers, such as discounts, trials, or special campaigns (“Offers”). Eligibility is determined at our discretion. If we determine you are not eligible, we may revoke the Offer or temporarily restrict your account. Eligibility checks may consider device information, payment method, or other contact information. Terms and conditions for each Offer will be communicated at sign-up.
2. Billing and Cancellation
2.1 Billing Cycle
Subscription fees, taxes, and any additional charges will be billed to your Payment Methodon the date indicated on your “My Membership” page. Billing cycles vary depending on your chosen subscription plan. Payment dates may change if a Payment Method fails, if you change plans, or if your billing start date falls on a day not present in a given month.
2.2 Payment Methods
You must maintain at least one valid Payment Method. If your primary method fails, we may charge any linked Payment Method. You remain responsible for any unpaid amounts. Failed payments may result in temporary suspension until payment is successfully completed. Third-party payment providers may charge fees or taxes, depending on the method.
2.3 Updating Payment Methods
Payment Methods can be updated through the “My Membership” page. We may also receive updates from payment service providers. You authorize us to charge the updated Payment Method(s) as needed.
2.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your membership at any time. Access will continue until the end of your current billing period. Payments are generally non-refundable. If you subscribed using a third-party payment method, cancellation may need to be completed through that third party.
2.5 Changes to Price and Subscription Plans
We may adjust subscription fees or plans. Notice of at least one month will be given for material changes. If you do not accept the changes, you may cancel before they take effect.
3. Use of Ally Universe Service
3.1 Age Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the service. Minors may use the service only under adult supervision.
3.2 Personal Use
The service and content are for your personal, non-commercial use unless your subscription plan permits sharing within your household. Membership grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the service. Public performances or redistribution are prohibited.
3.3. Geographic Access
Content is primarily accessible in the country where your account is registered and only where Ally Universe is licensed to provide it. Availability of content varies by location and changes over time. The number of simultaneous streams depends on your subscription plan.
3.4 Service Updates and Advertisements
The service is regularly updated, and content availability may vary. The service may include promotional messages, advertisements, or branded content. Interaction with third-party advertising is at your discretion and risk.
3.5 Offline Access
Some content may be temporarily available for offline use on certain devices. Restrictions apply, including the number of titles, devices, and timeframes. Offline content may not be accessible outside licensed regions.
3.6 Acceptable Use
You agree to use the service legally and not to:
- Copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from content;
- Bypass security features or digital protections;
- Use automated tools to scrape data;
- Reverse engineer software or manipulate service content;
- Upload harmful content or engage in fraudulent activities;
- Use the service to train or operate machine learning tools, unless explicitly authorized.
Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of your account.
3.7 Device and Network Requirements
Content quality may vary by device, network, and bandwidth. Internet fees are your responsibility. HD, Ultra HD, and advanced audio formats depend on your subscription plan and device capabilities.
3.8 Software Updates
Ally Universe software may require third-party components and may automatically update.
4. Account Security
You are responsible for all activity on your account. Share your password and payment details only with trusted household members. Keep your account information current. We may terminate or place your account on hold to prevent fraud or unauthorized use.
5. Warranties and Liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Liability is limited except as required by applicable law.
6. Class Action Waiver
Where legally permitted, disputes must be brought individually and not as part of a class or representative action.
7. Miscellaneous
7.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without limiting consumer protection rights in your jurisdiction.
7.2 Unsolicited Materials
We do not accept unsolicited ideas for content and are not responsible for similarities to our content.
7.3 Customer Support
For assistance, visit the Ally Universe Help Center. Remote support may require device access, which you can decline.
7.4 Survival of Terms
If any provision is invalid, the rest remain in effect.
7.5 Changes and Assignment
We may update these Terms and will provide at least one month’s notice for significant changes. We may assign our rights and obligations, and you agree to cooperate.
7.6 Force Majeure
Service may be unavailable due to events outside our control, such as outages, third-party failures, or assign our rights and obligations, and your agree to cooperate.
7.7 Electronic Communications.
Account information and notices will be sent electronically.
